Did You Know? Recalls and Advisories of Your Everyday Products


Like with anything, it is important to know when a product can be potentially hazardous to our health.  As a dental provider, we try our best to ensure that we protect our patients and the community when an "oral care product" has been deemed questionable.  Below are some products that have been on the market which users need to be aware of and use at their discretion.  We will update this regularly when we hear of any recalls or concerns regarding oral care products.  Click on the title(s) below for more information.  

Please note that although some are U.S. products., it is important to be aware of them since they can easily be bought and brought to Canada.

May 2018: Benzocaine Teething Products such as Orajel, Anbesol, Baby Orajel, Cepacol, Chloraseptic, Hurricaine, Orabase, Orajel and Topex
